Angwan Rukuba
First mission centre — birthed from a 2022 outreach crusade.

Reaching the inner cities of Jos with the gospel, discipling lives and empowering communities one centre at a time.
Watch: The Story of Inner City Missions of CWCCI
For years Pastor Dunka Gomwalk carried in his spirit a vision of multiple expressions of Covenant Word planted across Jos — replicas of the mother church in places long overlooked. After a defining encounter with Pastor Tommy Barnett at a Saddleback conference in California, that burden became unmistakably clear.
In 2022, Inner City Missions of CWCCI was officially launched with a crusade in Angwan Rukuba — one of the toughest neighbourhoods in Jos — followed by the planting of mission centres in Tudun Wada and Rukuba Road. What began as sporadic outreach grew into an organised movement of discipleship, skills empowerment and adult education.
Today, lives once trapped in substance abuse, street violence and broken homes are being restored — meeting Jesus, learning skills that put bread on their tables, and becoming witnesses to the saving power of God in their own communities.
